‘Entre dos Aguas’ is a dynamic and unique flamenco/contemporary dance performance.
Deeply analysed rhythm, gesticulation, and the mentality of the elements of different dance cultures merge in this performance.
During the performance dubbed with guitar-music, pictures filled with tension and pain follow each other. The beginnings of Andalusian folklore is depicted by the different scenes. After this the performance focuses on the comparison of the characters, to their strong and proud relations, which reach the peak of tension in the ‘Tablao’ scene, where the woman as a the tempter appears, who has the chance to choose, and the group of men, which is detained by her and is also depending on the woman’s game.
Constant movements appear decorated with inner movements of hanging energies, from where bodies could find their new, indefinite trajectories.
The lines of the bodies and the space are always strict and defined. The difficulty derives from the creation of tense, and the quickness of movements.
